100+ Visiting Guests
Attracts over 100+ active master players, partners, and supporters who stay 3–4 nights in local motels, dine at restaurants, and shop locally.
$2,000 Guaranteed Grant
SIVTTF provides a guaranteed $2,000 financial contribution directly to your host club to assist with court preparation, facility hireage, and staff/volunteers.
Bar & Catering Revenue
Host clubs retain 100% of all bar sales, coffee/tea station profits, and daily food sales (sandwiches, hot toasties, muffins, morning/afternoon teas).
Turnkey Committee Support
The central SIVTTF committee manages online registrations, player grading, secret team seeding, tournament draw sheets, match balls, medals, and trophies.
2. Host Club Requirements & Facility Checklist
To successfully host 10 to 12 balanced teams (80–96 players) across 3 days of holiday tennis, a host club or regional centre generally provides:

| Tournament Dates & Access | 27–30 December • Sunday 27 Dec (4:00 PM – 6:00 PM): Clubhouse open for Meet & Greet drinks, player check-in, and secret team reveals. • 28, 29 & 30 Dec (approx 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM): Daily tournament play across 9 full ties. |
| Clubhouse & Social Licensing | Club Liquor Licence Special or club liquor licence for social drinks between 4:00 PM and 7:30 PM during the festival period. Full bar profits retained by host club. |

- The Travelling South Island Rotation
Since 1991, the festival has celebrated 36 editions rotating across top South Island hubs. While alternating between Grass and Hard court surfaces, we are actively exploring regional expansion to ensure vibrant participation for years to come.
